Liposuction

Power Liposuction

The most commonly performed cosmetic surgery procedure in the U.S. today. Power liposuction is the best mechanism to minimize the unwanted localized collections of fatty tissue that have good overlying skin tone. For example, suction can be utilized to treat excess fatty tissue in the neck, arms, breasts (male and female), back, abdomen, flanks (love handles), saddle bags (outside thighs), inner thighs, buttocks, knees, or back rolls. THERMITight is a useful micro-invasive treatment that may be used in selected areas.

Local anesthesia or general anesthesia may be used for the day care procedure.

A tiny incision is made in an inconspicuous place. An electrically powered cannula (small tube) which is powered to move back-and-forth beneath the skin, breaking up the fat layer and suctioning it out. Power liposuction is easier, more effective and creates much less swelling and a quicker healing.
